Birth and death are two aspects that encompass eight periods (Aṣṭakāla).
When these eight periods are redeemed, one attains the divine feet of the Lord.
The union of sunrise and sunset makes up four periods, and the union of sunset and sunrise forms another four periods.
Consider day as birth,
And night as death.
Thus, together, birth and death encompass eight periods.
The remembrance of the divine name redeems these eight periods.
Everything is contained within this sacred name.
While giving his teachings, Thakur (Sri Sri Ramthakur) said:
"Wherever my discourse takes place,
I myself will be present there."
Always remember, "The words of the Guru are themselves the Guru."
It is our sacred duty to firmly remember Thakur's profound words. During the recitation of the Vedic scriptures or the discourse of Thakur, we must remain extremely patient, attentive, and silent, listening with full concentration.
Our duty is to express unwavering devotion, respect, and love for Thakur's teachings, words, and his extraordinary divine pastimes.
If listening to the discourse feels unpleasant, it is better to leave that place.
Engaging in idle talk or frivolous chatter during such sacred moments is a sign of disrespect and disregard for Thakur,
And it would be a grave offense.
If Krishna is displeased, the Guru can protect you;
But if the Guru is displeased, no one can save you.
Jai Ram, Jai Govinda.
